Anne from Good Steward Savers here, I have a Kirby Vacuum of my own that I bought in 1995. They are awesome machines and they last forever. I highly recommend Kirby Vacuum and this is my own opinion, I have no connection with Kirby Vacuum. The picture below is my Kirby Vacuum:
